Paracombe Plateau Blanc

$28.00

Tasting Notes

A vibrant expression of cool-climate winemaking, crafted to reflect purity and poise. Grown on the ancient, 1.7 billion year old Paracombe plateau, our Pinot Blanc opens with lifted notes of lemon myrtle and white citrus blossom. The palate shows pink grapefruit, nashi pear, and soft florals carried by beautiful balance and finesse. Fresh, bright and expressive.

What the reviewers are saying

Pinot Blanc gets its moment in bubbles and it makes it count. Super dry and fresh with a nicely struck savoury expression, it carries a bouquet of dusty lemon, preserved lemon, grapefruit, green apple and barley. A tang of citrus sets off the palate with grapefruit pith, almond skin and preserved lemon savouriness, and, is that a hint of herbals, too, and light acacia florals lighting up the background?  Finishes with a tart, green apple acidity. Summer drinking or aperitif style – it will suit both roles. Jeni Port WinePilot.com
