MacGillivray Shiraz 2013

$50.00

Tasting Notes

Deep rich red colour. Lifted aromas of plum, cherry with dark chocolate and subtle oak influence.

Opulent, superbly balanced and complete. This wine is layered with intense flavours of dark berry fruits, ripe cherry, hints of liquorice and gentle spice. The tannin is fine and lingering on the palate.

Will complement many styles of fine food such as full flavoured beef and lamb dishes.

What the reviewers are saying

Fragrant liquorice, dark cherry, blackberry fruits with smoked meats, umami edge. The palate has deep sweet fruits, the house style of fresh acidity and fine tannins with a real kick in the finish of dark plum. Rob Geddes MW
